Scans are simple, completely pain free, and take only moments to perform. After scanning the mouth, one of the many things we can do with the scan is send it to our Invisalign lab so a digital blueprint can be fabricated to create a customized series of trays specifically designed for you. It’s as simple as that!
One of the best ways to assess an orthodontic problem is to take a panoramic, digital X-ray. This allows Dr. Fran and you, our patient, to view all the teeth present in order to assess any underlying issues that might be causing crowding or poorly positioned teeth. This technology is an important tool to diagnose a problem and it is a favorite way for us to show our patients some of the reasons for tooth crowding.
