You remember Rugrats, but do you remember the sequel, “All Grown Up.” Tommy Pickle’s best friend, Chuckie Finster, has reached the age where he needs braces. Eliza Thornberry – The Wild Thornberrys
Eliza is the primary character from the show, “The Wild Thornberrys.” You may remember her long red hair and ability to talk to animals, but did you know that she also had braces? While she spends her time using her superpower to save animals, she is also working towards a straighter smile.
Lisa Simpson – The Simpsons
In the episode, “Last Exit to Springfield,” Lisa wears a headgear attached to her braces. During this 1993 episode, Mr. Burns is trying to eliminate the workers’ dental plan just as the Simpsons learn that Lisa needs braces. Homer ends up becoming the head of the union and organizes a strike to keep their dental insurance.
Murray – Clueless
Do you remember Murray from Clueless? He is one of the main characters in the movie as Dionne’s boyfriend. One of the great things about Murray is the fact that braces don’t get in the way of his style! He flashes them proudly throughout the movie and continues to be a cool guy!
